Covered and uncovered trailers

Thanks to the long-standing collaboration with qualified transport companies, we are able to grant fast and widespread domestic and international shipments by trucks. The carriers we work with provide us with covered and uncovered trailers, depending on the availability and on the required unloading methods at site.

Containers

The use of open top containers makes the shipment of steel pipes easier and safer. They facilitate the loading and unloading operations and prevent the goods (steel pipes) from damages during the transportation and the handling.

Sea freight

The shipping of steel pipes by sea is one of the widest and most used method of transport in the international trade. We usually rely on the maritime transport to receive raw materials (steel coils, iron ore, etc) and to deliver coated and/or concrete overweighted pipes.

The location of our facilities in Chieti and Larino is certainly of strategic value, since the closeness to the Adriatic Sea allow us to take great advantage of this method of transport.

Rail transport

The use of train is an efficient and cost-effective way to transport heavy pipes for big projects and over long distances. We also use the train for the procurement of the raw materials necessary in our production processes.

Intermodal freight transport

Steel pipes can be delivered using multiple modes of transportation: truck (typically), vessel and train. However, the final destination, the local laws and other risks are elements to consider for the selection of the most suitable way of transport. The intermodal transport reduces cargo handling and so improves security and reduces the risk of damage and loss. It is used above all for those shipments that pass through foreign countries and/or reach places with significant restrictions on the payload capacity.
