It’s a kind of coating used for service temperatures up to 110° C, in presence of mechanical and corrosion risks, in order to enhance the scratch, penetration, peeling resistance, with long lasting performances. It’s applied in 3 layers, on steel pipes with the desired thickness.
The 3LPP coating is a passive protection technique used when service temperature are high up to 110° C, in presence of mechanical and corrosion risks, in order to enhance the scratch, penetration, peeling resistance, with long lasting performances.
It can be used for water, oil and gas, submarine linepipes and special services, for onshore and offshore applications, according to the international standards DIN 30678, NFA 49711, ISO 21809-1 and to Customer’s requirements.
3LPP coating from dia ¾” (26.7 mm) to dia. 70” (1778.0 mm), lengths from 6.0 m to 16.0 m. It’s applied with both side-banded and sleeve extrusion methods, with traditional liquid or FBE primers with grafted adhesive for applications where maximum adhesion, penetration resistance and high durability are required. Tailor made application according to Customer’s specification and requirements. We have our own test and research laboratories.
