The choice of anti-corrosion protection is the main concern of the designer since he has to take carefully into account the environment conditions in which the pipeline operates. The anti-corrosion coating extends the life span of the pipes, helping to protect them from oxidation, aggressive agents and stray currents.
We can co-operate with the designers in finding the optimal solutions for both the external and internal coating.
The anticorrosion coatings are applied both on our products and, also, on those supplied by the customer.
We are especially skilled in the application of high-adhesion triple-layer polyethylene coatings and in the cement mortar overweighting for off-shore projects, with the possibility to relocate the plants in order to save transport costs.
External anticorrosion coatings and protective layers of steel pipes, ranging from a diameter DN ¾" (26.9 mm) up to DN 70" (1778.0 mm), for gas pipelines, oil pipelines, aqueducts, onshore and offshore, both traditional and latest generation, in polyethylene, polypropylene, FBE, asphalt, pre-insulated, rock-shield (with fiber cement or with high resistance for large diameters), with concrete overweighting (CWC) and application of sacrificial anods , for submarine pipelines, according to the main national and international Standards.
Internal lining for conveying drinking water, anti-friction for gas, epoxy paints for transport of hydrocarbons, polyamide powders, cement mortar, hot applied bitumen, special paints, for pipes with diameters from DN 2”.½ (76.1 mm) up to DN 70" (1778.0 mm), as well as standard and special bell spigots (for paint protection).
